Soon after Xiaomi launched its first Android One smartphone, Mi A1 in India, Motorola is also expected to launch its first Android One device. You might recall that when Google initially announced Android One at Google I/O in June 2014, the phones were entry level models designed for smartphone hungry markets where consumers could not afford mid-range or high-end phones. The smartphone seems to be based on the recently unveiled Moto X4. Next, you'll probably spot the dual rear-facing camera which has one lens with the normal angle and the other is a wide-angle lens. Motorola Moto X4 Android One Edition render have leaked online. If this leak turns out to be true, the device will come with even fewer pre-installed apps and faster updates directly from Google. According to a new report, Motorola will be launching a special edition of Moto X4 with Android One OS in the US.

It then seems that smartphone manufacturers are actually treating Android One as a way to offer their popular devices in a stripped and lightened iteration.

Xiaomi M1 A1 is the latest iteration of Google's Android One smartphone program. The Moto X4 is powered by the 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 508 GPU and 3GB of RAM. For the storage, the Mi A1 has 64GB with room to expand it, something you won't find on the Google Pixel or Nexus phones.

An Android One device from Motorola is interesting as the company already ships their device with a near stock Android experience.

By basic Android, we mean less bloatware, no heavy skin prepared by the OEM, and regular updates as made available by the Android team. It will receive Android 8.0 Oreo before the end of this year. This dual camera setup comes alongside a colour correlated temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash and PDAF. You can use a microSD card for up to 2TB expansion. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, and infrared. The device is also IP68 water and dust resistant. Moto X4 was launched at the IFA event 2017 in Berlin with dual camera set-up, Amazon Alexa and lot of other features.
